In-place inclinometers were installed to measure the shoring wall performance. The inclinometers were configured with cellular connectivity and solar power to measure and transmit measurements to the cloud platform for review by the contractor and engineering teams.
The SFDPW required vibration monitoring to ensure vibration levels stayed below established thresholds and did not cause damage to the city infrastructure. These sensors also used cellular connectivity and solar power to wirelessly transmit monitoring data to the cloud platform.
Weekly reports were distributed to the project team to confirm that the measured vibrations were below the thresholds and in compliance with the SFDPW requirements.
